Olive Leaves

Latin name: Olea Europaea
Olive leaves, from the olive tree (Olea europaea), are native to the Mediterranean region, including parts of Southern Europe, Northern Africa and Western Asia. The Olive tree holds significant cultural importance, particularly in ancient Greek, Roman and Egyptian civilisations, symbolising peace, wisdom and victory. In ancient Greece, Olive branches were used to crown Olympic victors. Olive leaves can be used as talismans, in incense or placed in homes to promote harmony in relationships. They can also be infused into Olive oil to enhance its flavour.
