Latin name: Salvia Apiana
White Sage is native to the dry coastal regions of California and northern Mexico. It has been used for centuries by Indigenous people, such as the Chumash and Cahuilla, in spiritual ceremonies. This sacred plant is traditionally associated with cleansing, protection and fostering spiritual connection. When burned, the smoke from White Sage is believed to dispel negative or stagnant energy, creating a space of harmony and peace.
How to use: Light the tip of the smudge stick and let it burn briefly. Gently blow out the flame, allowing the sage to smoulder and release its fragrant smoke. To extinguish, press the smudge stick into a fireproof bowl, sand or dirt.
Caution: White Sage smudge sticks should always be used with care. Be mindful of their potent properties and if unsure, please consult a knowledgeable practitioner.
